For the love of long narrow streets.
I didn’t like Gaudi. However, @dijana_vucinic decided to prove me wrong, so I changed my mind after the visit.
Derelict JNA military barracks and tunnels. Yes. And off into the unknown we go.
I was in love back in 80s when I stepped on the escalator for the first time in my life. I remember it so vividly, the magic and all the toys in the “RK Beograd” shopping center.
I borrowed the huge keys and I got in, well, through the window. Twenty metres from the water of Boka Bay, a tailor’s house is sleeping, surrounded by tall stone walls and full of WWII tailoring magazines.
Abandoned building site of a sports hall. A concrete Quasimodo in the middle of a national park.
A marvellous piece by DVARP Architecture, shining on the coast of Dobrota. Minecrafty blocks with an angle that keeps you hidden, and a wide, epic view.
Spomenik poginulim lješnjanima u borbi za slobodu it is called, this alien-like memorial structure in the middle of nowhere.
Nobody gave a shit while it was there, but everybody started bragging when the demolition started. The old communist hotel went down in style, keeping his head up.
Echoes like a bad dream and smells like dystopia, Church of the Holy Heart of Jesus in Podgorica is a marvellous piece. Cold brezze irradiates from the internal walls in the middle of the summer, and it takes a fair hike to get to the cross.
Rolling ideas under the Synchro Building.
They used to play on the abandoned concrete.
Renovations are in progress. Also, little me in a vast room.
I visited one more time before the renovations began.
